Office Exposure
About
In this work, I imagine the body as a light-sensitive surface, where prolonged exposure to our environments gradually develops their image onto the clothes we wear, leaving us to carry them around, visible to everyone.
Exposed Offices gives form to this idea through an office shirt printed with 1:1 scale stock photographs of office furniture, appliances and equipment, arranged according to how these objects would surround the body in the workplace. Like a pinhole camera, the office—and the social expectations embedded within it—gradually develops itself onto the shirt until workplace and person collapse into one another.
